It’s true that narrative is more important than anything else in a movie, but the filming of this movie was really crazy!!!
In particular, I was overwhelmed from the beginning of the movie because of the incredible ability and choice to control the amount of light when shooting.
I imagine that the shots were taken in natural light, or the troubles caused by the light reflecting off the snow when shooting in winter, which is the main background of the movie. Also, I imagine that the shots were taken with indirect lighting indoors, taking dimming and shading into consideration, but I couldn’t keep my mouth shut.
Of course, these technical aspects are things that most viewers don’t even think about, but I think they will immediately understand what I’m trying to say when they watch the movie.
Debussy’s Moonlight flows and the screen feels like looking at a Rembrandt painting.
It was such a fun, beautiful, and time that I didn’t want it to end!!!!
It’s so good!!!!!!!
Highly recommended!!!!!!!
