Since I’ve been around for that long, the nuns have told me many things, and one of them that I remember is that when guests come from outside, they quickly hide their Nike shoes…
Sponsorship decreases significantly when Nike shoes are visible. I guess he bought me some Nikes because he was so full.
What the nuns said at that time was that it wasn’t that the kids there didn’t want to wear Nike. Rather, they say that it’s just that the kids have grown up early and don’t talk.
Anyway, it is an obvious livelihood that relies on support from Catholic believers and government support.
I was afraid that the nuns would freak out when my kids went to school, so I saved up for other household items and wore even the cheapest shoes that had the Nike logo on them.
Perhaps, unknowingly, I thought that since I was a poor child, I had to live roughly.
After reading the post sponsored by Dujjoku below, an idea suddenly occurred to me, so I am writing it down without any hesitation.
I think the comment that said it made me feel the same experience will remain in my memory for a long time.
