Who will become the mayor of Seoul? Oh Se-hoon 37%, Jeong Won-oh 34%, margin of error ‘close’ [Case Stat Research]

According to a telephone interview survey conducted on the 1st by K-Stat Research, a public opinion polling company, with 800 people aged 18 or older living in Seoul from December 28 to 30 last year at the request of JoongAng Ilbo, in the virtual bilateral match, Mayor Oh received 37% and District Mayor Jeong received 34%, which were close within the margin of error (±3.5 percentage points). 24% responded that ‘there is no candidate to support’, 3% responded ‘don’t know/no response’, and 2% answered other candidates.

This survey was conducted using a mobile phone (virtual number) interview method. The response rate is 9.4% and the margin of sampling error is up to ±3.5% points at the 95% confidence level. For more information, please refer to the National Election Opinion Survey Deliberation Committee website.
