Roberto Baggio.

He was a Ballon d’Or winner in 1993 and was called an unlucky fantasy star after missing a penalty shootout in the 1994 World Cup final.

When he came to Korea in 1996, he received incredibly good fan service. Milan security guards kicked him out when he saw Korean fans who came to see him during training, but he said, ‘You came all the way here to see me, so you should respond.’

And I filmed a beverage commercial in Korea and had a great time.

Afterwards, the image of Italy was bad due to the story of Italy’s upset after the round of 16 of the 2002 World Cup, but Baggio, who came to Korea before that, said that no Koreans criticized him.

Even now, when a Bajo video comes out on YouTube, the guys from that time are doing an autograph session at Shinsegae Department Store and they say that they can’t forget Bajo being so gentle in front of Koreans.
